How We Created Our Grandfather’s Beard Oil

Beard oil isn’t just our family business, it’s our passion. We have been small business owners for over a decade and decided to launch J Bob’s out of the desire to share our products with the world. The journey began out of need: Cory tried various oils on the market and couldn’t find something that really worked for him. So, Jennifer started making custom beard oil. She has experience in mixology and thought it would be fun. After several years of compliments on Cory’s beard, they decided they were on to something and began developing J Bob’s. 

J Bob’s is not just a name. J Bob is Cory’s beard rocking, professional trumpet playing band member in Shady Lady and The Moon Cats, a variety band based in Illinois. Unfortunately, J Bob passed before his time. We established J Bob’s as a way to honor Cory’s papa and keep his memory alive. Our logo features J Bob.
